DR Strings Veritas VTE-9 sähkökitaran kielet ovat pitkään kestävät, soundiltaan kirkkaat ja voimakkaat. Veritas-sarja on suunniteltu aktiivisille soittajille, jotka haluavat hyvän soundin kestävän pitkään.

DR Strings kehitti pitkän testauksen tuloksen kokonaan uudentyyppisen kielen, joka yhdistää pinnoitetun kielen parhaat ominaisuudet normaaliin soittotuntumaan. Tuloksena on pidempään kestävä, kirkkaammin ja voimakkaammin soiva sekä tarkkaa intonaatiota tarjoileva Veritas.

Veritas-kielten perustana on ACT (Accurate Core Technology), joka tarkoittaa, että kielen ydinlanka on pinnoitettu, mutta päällinen on pinnoittamaton. Aiempaa tasaisemman ja vahvemman ytimen päällä on uusi Quantum Nickel -punosmateriaali. Se on tavallista nikkelipäällysteistä punosta magneettisempi, minkä ansiosta kielen soundi on isompi ja se vastaa paremmin erilaisiin soittotyyleihin. Uudella materiaalilla tehdyistä punomattomista kielistä DR Strings käyttää nimitystä Xenon Power-plain.
